A “Happy Thanksgiving” Note – So Much To Be Thankful For!

I try to provide educational articles throughout the year to help you make sense of financial planning, so you can secure the best possible future for yourself and your family. Now, as we approach Thanksgiving and the holiday season, I want to take a moment to give thanks. Thank you to my clients for your continued confidence and support, and thank you to my readers for your encouragement and feedback. I am grateful for the chance to get to know you and to try to provide a positive service in your life. I am most thankful for my amazing wife, children, family, friends & all of our health, as I hope you share the same sentiment about yours!

On Thanksgiving Day, we have a family tradition of asking what we are all thankful for. My children, Abby & Clay, have been known to roll their eyes as to say, here we go again. However, I think it’s so important to cultivate the value of thankfulness throughout our lives. During hard times, we can always find the good, even if it’s just the knowledge of being able to survive something that seemed impossible. By turning stress and worry into positive energy and action, it’s possible to accomplish remarkable goals and work through the toughest of times with the support of a caring person.

As I like to say, there are no do-overs in life, so we might as well journey through, by being happy and grateful. I find as I get older (47), life seems to accelerate. I have always told myself not to waste any time dwelling on the negatives, rather focus on what I’m thankful for, especially during this time of year!

So I leave you with this question: what are you thankful for this year?
